Admissions are merit-based, through the UPES entrance exam, or via national exams like JEE or CUET, with 25% of seats reserved for direct admission. UPES offers scholarships ranging from 10-30% on the first year’s tuition fees, including Entry Level, Domicile, Jyoti (for economically weaker sections with household income below 8 lakhs), Vijay (35-100% for national/international athletes), Alumni, and MBA scholarships (limited to 100 recipients). Special provisions include 25 seats for armed forces families and 10-30% scholarships for Liberal Studies and B.Tech programs.
